This report (.pdf) released yesterday by Human Rights Watch claims that over 250 disappearances during the presidency of President Felipe Calderon may have involved state agents. President Calderon’s six-year term ended last year. The current President, Enrique Peña Nieto, took office on December 1, 2012. He is a member of the Institutional Revolution Party (PRI).
